Hey there girls!

This was my first week back to pharmacy school and I’m already counting the weeks for the semester to be over lool! 😀 This semester will involve a great deal of hard work, but I’m looking forward for the challenge. As my dad always says “Nothing great comes easy.”

For those who don’t know what an abaya is, it is a loose dress like over-garment that is worn in parts of the Muslim countries. It is traditionally black but the recent trend of colored abaya’s is really beautiful! So for today’s post, I am wearing a maroon abaya with floral detailing along the front, back and on the sleeves. The shoulders are lifted giving it a royal feel and it has pockets (yayy!). I finished the look with off-white blouse, pants and hijab.

Hola Chicas!

With Ramadan coming to an end, I have busy celebrating Eid with my family and friends. My family and I spent the first day of Eid on a cruise ship enjoying a fancy dinner. The music was great and the staff were super nice, it was a day to remember alhamdulillah ❤

I got a request asking me to post a hijab friendly look that is comfortable yet fashionable when traveling on a plane so here it is 🙂  I am wearing black boot cut jeans with an oversize white and black blouse. I finished the look with purple sandals, a purple handbag that is large enough to put all my things and a purple jersey hijab. Jersey is the perfect fabric to wear when traveling, working out or spending long hours wearing the hijab because it stays in place so you never have to worry about how you look.

I just had to share a picture of the dinner while we were on the cruise ship 🙂

Jeans: GAP

Blouse: H&M

Until next time! xoxo

Hi there girls!

I am so sad that my internship has ended. I had a wonderful supervisor that trained me, answered all my never ending questions and gave me the opportunity to take on cases. I learned so much so to show my appreciation to the staff, I decided to bring them chocolate cupcakes with a small thank you card. Hopefully they love it.

Bootcut jeans are back and they are a major trend this season! I love this style of jeans because it isn’t tight making it more modest. I decided to pair my bootcut jeans with a white blouse and a long red cardigan for extra coverage. I matched it with a floral print hijab and white sandals. I finished the look with a belt and a large gold bracelet. This outfit is super chic, fashionable yet modest. Hope you like this look!

I had to share a photo of the cupcakes 😀

Hey lovelies!

My brother is officially a doctor y’all! He graduated from the college of medicine a few days ago and I couldn’t be prouder. I pray that this will be the first step for a good life and successful career.

My current focus is showing hijabis modest outfits that are perfect for the summer. Today’s outfit is great for any casual occasion or for just a walk in the park. I am wearing a watermelon pink skirt with a t-shirt and a denim blouse. I finished the look with a floral hijab and accessories. Did I mention how much I love this shade of pink ❤

Hello there girls!

I started my training in a pharmacy and it has been a wonderful experience thus far! I have learned so much about different types of medication and on dealing with patients. I’m taking the evening shift this week so I’m getting back home very late, but it is definitely worth it.

This blog post is another summer inspired outfit. My main focus is showing hijabis how to wear outfits that are very light, fashionable but still be modest for the summer. So today I am wearing wide orange patterned pants with a white blouse that’s short from the front and long from the back providing a little extra coverage. I finished it off with gold accessories and a gold watch.

Blouse: Khols

Pants: New Look

Watch: Swatch

Hijab: Local store

Ramadan Kareem! xoxo

Hey my loves!

I know it has been forever since I last blogged, but I was super busy with finals. I am finally back and I have so many ideas that I cannot wait to share with all of you 😀

Now that is summer, I absolutely love to wear bright colors, prints, dresses and anything flowy. So for today’s blogpost, I am wearing a fringe kimono with an off-white shirt and wide leg beige trousers making this outfit airy and light, perfect for summer days. As I mentioned in my previous post, kimonos are wonderful because they provide the coverage needed while still being fashionable. Another major benefit is that kimonos are made of very light fabric which is especially great for hijabis in hot weather.

Hey there beauties!

Lets be honest here, it is hard to find modest formal outfits for work or attending conferences (and isn’t a skirt! Lol :p ). A great alternative is wearing kimonos. I love kimonos because you can dress them up or down. you can make them casual or formal. It all depends on the occasion. Not to mention that they come in different patterns, colors and lengths. So next time you’re struggling to find an outfit that is formal yet modest, try a kimono.

p.s. I am super excited to tell you guys that I have been approved for level 3 emergency response volunteer program! It will be for 5 hours everyday throughout this week. It is difficult trying to juggle classes, labs, exams and the volunteer program, but it is worth every second. It is important to have the tools and skills because one small action can be the difference between life or death.

Hello loves!

For all of those who have started school, good luck! Hopefully you have a wonderful semester 🙂  As for me, It is only the second week of school and I am already feeling the pressure. I’m being very positive about it all and taking one day at a time.

Anyways, its another fashion blog! Pants with patterned prints have been a major trend and I simply love them. However, I couldn’t find pants that were loose enough for my liking. I FINALLY found a pair of pants from Forever 21 that are loose and very pretty, perfect for this time of year. I paired it with a long flow shirt for extra coverage making this outfit hijab friendly.

Hey lovelies!

Hope everyone is stayed warm in the cold weather earlier this week, it was raining so much! I must admit that cold weather always calls for a nice cup of hot chocolate. As for today, I decided to wear a knee length Victorian inspired coat which I absolutely love! I paired it with dark brown pants and boots. To add a pop of color, I wore a light pink hijab and handbag. I finished the look with pink lipstick and accessories. Hope you like it 🙂

Oh and you can’t forget the cup of hot chocolate 😀

Hey girls!

I am so excited to be sharing with you my first blog! I have been wanting to make a blog for some time now, but I was very hesitant. I finally decided to just go for it so I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy sharing it with you. Today, I wanted to show you an outfit that is simple yet very elegant. Many girls think that overdressing is the only way to look good.They fail to understand that sometimes simplicity is key for sophistication. Something to keep in mind next time you go shopping (;
